Sunday mornings are a time in which we gather together to worship God through engaging music, authentic teaching, and other creative elements.
Join us during one of our regular services at 9:00 or 10:45 am at the CG Arena, 9185 Research Blvd., Austin, TX 78758.
We know going to church for the first time could create some anxiety. So to help keep that to a minimum, here is a quick summary of what you can expect on a Sunday morning at Crossroads.
What to expect
People that show up prior to a gathering, spend time greeting one another and staking out a seat. The worship service lasts for approximately one and a half hours. It usually begins with music, a prayer or reading from the Bible. A live band leads us in song. The message is from the Bible and is designed to help us understand God, who we are, and the world in which we live. Every week, we participate in communion to thank God, and remind ourselves of our need for Jesus Christ. We also give back to God in the form of offerings. By giving, we recognize His provision and participate in the ministry of the church. After service people often spend ten to thirty minutes talking with one another, and then frequently go to lunch in groups.
When to arrive
If it’s your first visit to Crossroads, it’s best to arrive about 15 minutes early.
What to wear
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. There is no need to dress up.
What about my kids?
Crossroads Kids (birth – 5th grade) meets during both Worship Services on Sundays at the CG Arena. You will want to plan time for the check-in and registration process. You can direct any questions you might have to our Children’s Ministry Resident, Flor Castellanos
Student Ministry (6th – 12th grade)
Revolution Student Ministry is a great place for Middle School and High School students to connect, have fun and experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. Our ultimate goal is to know Jesus and to make Him known!
Crossroads student ministry provides students with opportunities to use their gifts and talents to serve the church and community as well as an atmosphere for fun. The student ministry is dedicated to partnering with parents in developing Christ minded students that are missionaries to their schools and neighborhoods.
Sunday Morning Opportunities
Serve Revolution 101: This Spring we are doing a new initiative encouraging all students to join a Sunday serve team during second service! We want students to discover and affirm the gifts that God has given them, develop leadership skills, and see value in their contribution to the local church!
Our mid-week option for students is called Revolution Small Groups!
For more information contact the Pastor, Brady Traywick.
Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! We desire to live out our faith everyday. To further encourage us we have Community Groups that meet regularly throughout the week. These groups are the way we grow in our love for God, one another, and our city.
We also are working in Austin with organizations to help more people have opportunities to experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. Check out all that we do in the city and globally by heading to http://crossroadschurchaustin.com/serve/
