Brady and his wife Christy moved to Austin the summer of 2006 to start a church in North Austin. In September 2007, Crossroads was born! Prior to Crossroads, Brady served the local church 12+ years in different capacities. Brady has Bible degrees from Hardin-Simmons University and Dallas Theological Seminary. The Traywick’s have three daughters: Lauren, Claire, and Ali. For fun, Brady likes to read, try new restaurants, travel (to the beach), and watch college football.
Brad has been serving with the local church in various capacities of ministry since the gospel changed his life in college. He met his wife, Stephanie, at Stephen F. Austin University and continued his education at Dallas Theological Seminary. Both Brad and Stephanie knew they wanted to serve with a church that was committed to reaching those who don’t know Christ which is what led them to Crossroads in August of 2008.

Flor moved to Austin in January after spending 14 months teaching in Thailand. Previous to Crossroads, Flor served in ministry through various leadership roles, where she developed a passion for younger generations and the marginalized. An alumni of Texas Tech, she has a hard time admitting she’s now a longhorn as she pursues her Master’s in Educational Psychology at UT, but has no problem admitting she only jogs to counterbalance her love of ice cream. During her free time you’re likely to find her either reading, or listening to podcasts with a bowl of watermelon in hand.

Jim and his wife, Debbie, were married on June 5, 1971. Jim received a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas in 1973. After graduation, they lived in California, Kansas, and Texas during Jim’s career as a computational aerodynamicist. In 2010, after 36 years away, they moved back to Austin so that they could serve the Lord and offer a supporting role for their daughter’s family. The mission, vision, and people attracted Jim and Debbie to Crossroads where Jim has been able to use his passion for worship music by serving on the music team and his organizational skills by being the Children’s Ministry Worship Team Leader. Jim’s hobbies include Bible study, worship music, spiritual renewal through Kairos prison ministry, yard work (butterflies, birds, flowers, lawn), and being a husband, father, and grandfather.
